Faith Action Network (FAN) Annual Fundraising Dinner

Faith Action Network (FAN) Annual Fundraising Dinner

Faith Action Network (FAN) will have its annual dinner fundraiser November 20th at 5:30pm. After two years of virtual dinners, this year’s event will be an in person gathering at the Renton Pavilion, 233 Burnett Avenue S., Renton. There will also be an online option for those who can’t attend in person. Members of our Church & Society committee have decided to attend virtually this year with the hopes of attending in person next year.

The Annual Dinner is a time for members to fellowship, share stories of the past year and celebrate the successes of the bills they supported that passed this last legislative session. Rick Steves, a strong supporter of FAN and a regular guest speaker, will again give voice to work of FAN. The African American Cultural Ensemble from the Northwest African American Museum will provide music.

FAN is a multi-faith, non-profit organization though which thousands of people and over 160 faith communities across Washington State partner for the common good. Together, they are a powerful voice of faith and conscience advocating for a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world through community building, education and courageous public action. First Church is a member. Church members have participated in the Meet the Legislator Days in Olympia to advocate for those who can’t speak for themselves and have followed legislation on its website so comments can be made on bills to legislators.

Payment is through PayPal or Credit Card. You’ll receive updates and reminders, and the online link will be sent during the week before the event.
