Neighborhood House Supply Drive

Neighborhood House Supply Drive

Neighborhood House supports families who are experiencing homelessness. When they find new homes for families to move into, Neighborhood House provides them with a starter kit of supplies, such as dish soap, towels, trashcans, cleaning products, etc.

During the worship service on January 2, 2021, we will hear from Neighborhood House’s Associate Director of Education and Community Services, and their Housing Stability Manager, about their work with families.

After the worship service, join the Global Missions Team in building the welcome kits for families moving into a new home! Bring new, unopened supplies that families would need the first few days in their new home, including:

  • New towels (various sizes)
  • Hand Soap
  • Dish Soap
  • Sponges
  • Toilet Paper
  • Paper Towel
  • Kleenex
  • Garbage bags
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Shampoo & Conditioner
  • Hand Broom
  • Laundry Hamper
  • Grocery Store Gift Card

For kids and youth who would like to participate, write a “welcome home” card or draw a picture welcoming the family to their new home!

Here is a finished “welcome home” kit for inspiration.

We will meet in the Narthex at 11:30 to assemble the welcome home kits.
