The Church and Society / Social Justice Committee (CSSJ) at First United Methodist Church of Seattle is offering a meaningful way to engage in justice work: writing postcards to encourage voter participation in the upcoming November elections. We are beginning to gather names of those who would like to help ‘Get out the Vote.’
This is a flexible opportunity to make a difference. Here’s what you can expect:
- We will provide you with all the necessary materials, including postcards, addressee lists, and the message to write.
- Stamps will be supplied by the CS/SJ committee, or you are welcome to use your own.
- A Postcard Collection box will be placed in the Narthex for you to conveniently drop off your finished postcards.
- You can request new batches of postcards monthly. If you complete your postcards and wish to write more, a QR code on the collection box will allow you to easily request additional materials.
