Pipe Organ 101

Mozart called the pipe organ the “King of Instruments” — discover why in a three-session program led by Elisabeth Ellis and Don Crawley. The program opens with an introductory class at First Church, then travels to Tacoma for a tour of the Paul Fritts organ shop (meeting Paul Fritts and David Dahl, Professor of Music and University Organist Emeritus at Pacific Lutheran University) followed by a demonstration of the Fritts organ at PLU’s Lagerquist Hall, led by University Organist Justin J. Murphy-Mancini.
