A huge thank you to Ben Ohene for his lovely heartfelt stewardship message this past Sunday, sharing how curiosity led him to First Church’s front door, but the welcoming spirit, openness and kindness here kept him coming back.
We are well on our way to reaching our goal of $350,000 as well as increasing the number of pledges. As of November 1st, we have received 56 pledges totaling $318,274.46. A resounding thank you to all who have made a financial commitment to First Church for 2027.

The generosity of the congregation this year has made many wonderful things possible, from nearly 6,000 meals served at Shared Breakfast to vibrant Sunday morning worship services with incredible music, to the Blaine Center which provides critical services to veterans transitioning to permanent housing. We need your help to keep all of this great work going in 2027. The energy, excitement and momentum at First Church is palpable, and we need to keep the cup flowing, overflowing with abundance.
