You might be wondering…what is the Pastor’s Discretionary Assistance Fund? Imagine you are living in an apartment and your landlord doubles your rent with very little warning. You can’t afford that and don’t have the money to move to a new apartment. You’re stuck, with no safety net and no where to go. Being homeless in a city as expensive and crowded as Seattle is very hard. Because of your generous donations to the Pastor’s Discretionary Assistance Fund, we are able to help people with their immediate and most emergent needs. Our church office has supplied hundreds of Safeway gift cards to people in our community in need of food, bus tickets to help people get around Seattle, reunite with family, or relocate for a job opportunity, assistance with utility bills, and so much more. Every dollar counts!
