Please join us for a Lunch and Learn on June 11 after the worship service to hear about the recent experiences of our Nogales Mission Trip Team. Members from various United Methodist Churches in Washington traveled to the border town of Nogales, Arizona in April. They fostered fellowship with El Mesias United Methodist Church, helped fix a leaky roof, visited the U.S./Mexico border and crossed it to Nogales, Mexico, met with several immigration ministries, and learned about the history and the current immigration situations of the area. Sue Porter, Cynthia Lockwood, and George Lockwood will share their experiences and their photographs.
