This year, during Advent, we will be collecting donated items for the Blaine Veterans Center that provides transitional housing to Veterans, located at First Church and operated by Compass Housing Alliance. The next following Sundays in Advent, you may bring any of the following items and place them in the donations area in the Narthex. We will provide a blessing on these items on Christmas Eve. Thank you for taking care of our Veterans this Holiday Season!
All Items need to be New, Un-used, and Un-opened.
- Underwear (mainly L & XL)
- Socks
- Pillows
- Scarves
- Beanies/hats
- Deodorant
- Hygiene products are always needed (travel size shampoos, toothpaste, conditioners, soap, razors, etc. )
