Friday, December 26, 2025 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Cookie Exchange 

Tired of the cookies you make every year? Make an extra dozen Christmas cookies and bring them to exchange and replenish your supply with new cookies. Fun and conversation over tea/coffee and cookies. Best for 12 years old and older. Host: Peg Hall in Northgate area.

Saturday, December 27  5:30 – 8:30  Potluck and Movie Night

Enjoy the community sharing of a favorite food at a potluck followed by a Christmas movie.  Hosts: Joe and Joyce Frost north of downtown Kirkland.

Sunday, December 28 2:00 – 6:00 pm. Gift Recycle (Revenge?)

We’ve all had Christmas presents that went from a best effort “Thanks” to “What can I do with this?” Here is your chance to pass along those “not me” gifts and the stories around them. Join together for hors d’oeuvres, sweets, and stories. Your “ticket” is to bring practical clothes and/or household items and tell the stories they represent. Afterwards those gifts will be delivered to individuals or organizations who need them most. Hosts: Barbara Moreland and Tom Bruhns in Edmonds.

Monday, December 29 5:00 pm, Potluck.

Ready to eat someone else’s cooking? Bring a favorite dish to the Donahue’s and enjoy the evening with new friends. Children welcome. Hosts: Sharon and Doug Donahue in Northgate area.

Wednesday, December 31 5:00 – 9:30 pm. Game Night. 

Want to celebrate New Year’s Eve on East Coast time? Come play games – bring your favorites if you want. Bring an appetizer to share if you want. Kids welcome.  Host: Violet Boyer in Lake Forest Park.

Thursday, January 1, 2026 2:00 pm Walk on the Shorefront

Ready to get out for a walk after all the festivities? Enjoy afternoon tea and walk along the waterfront (weather permitting). Host: Sony Purba in downtown

Friday, January 2 5:30 pm, Southern New Years Dinner

Kick off the new year with friends and a Southern style feast! Sides and desserts are welcome but not required. Join Holly Harvey and Chris Russell at their home in Ballard for dinner and good times. Kids welcome.

Saturday, January 3 12:00 noon. Scandinavian Lunch

Enjoy an authentic Scandinavian lunch with the Schubert’s. Be sure to wear your Scandinavian sweater if you have one! Hosts: Eleanor and Keith Schubert in Crown Hill neighborhood.

Sunday, January 4 3:00 pm Tea and Carousel

Always wanted to see some of the Allen’s collection of carousel horses? Enjoy afternoon tea and carousels with host Linda Allen at her home south of downtown Kirkland.

Monday, January 5  6:00 – 8:30 pm Potluck Dinner

Kick off the first week of the new year with a potluck dinner at the Loacker’s on Queen Anne. Hosts: Debra and John Loacker


Tuesday, January 6 2:00 pm Afternoon Tea

Wrap up our 12 Days of Christmas with one last relaxing afternoon tea. Hosts Sue Porter and Nancy Scheretz in Beacon Hill
