Each year First Church celebrates Pride Sunday, on the last Sunday in June. This event is a chance to celebrate and affirm the LQBTQ+ members of our community, and to make a public statement about the care, love, and appreciation we have for each unique individual expressing their God-given identity.
This celebration includes a special worship service, the opportunity to march in Seattle’s Pride Parade with other Reconciling Ministry Network churches, and a chance to serve cookies, drinks, and communion for all to parade marchers as they end the parade route in front of First Church.
