M-Pox, Flu, and Covid Vaccine Clinic

This Sunday, January 29th, 2023 from 8:00 am – 10:30 am, our Urban Outreach Committee is co-sponsoring a M-Pox, Flu, and Covid Vaccine Clinic in Fellowship Hall at Shared Breakfast, our ministry that provides a warm meal to anyone that is hungry. We are partnering with Washington Department of Health and Birds Eye Medical for this vaccine clinic.

This clinic is open to the congregation and the community, in addition to our Shared Breakfast guests.

Walk-Ins are Welcomed and Encouraged. Drop-in before worship to receive any of these vaccines. If you would like to pre-register, please do so at this link.

If you are able to provide volunteer assistance at this clinic, please contact me at jackie@seattlefirstchurch.org

M-Pox vaccines in general are in limited supply. Therefore, Washington Department of Health suggests prioritizing M-Pox vaccines for the following individuals. Please refer to their website, Monkeypox virus (MPV) Provider FAQs and Resources | Washington State Department of Health) for more info:

  • Gay and bisexual men and transgender individuals who have had multiple or anonymous gay, male bisexual, or transgender sex partners in the last 3 months.
  • People who have used methamphetamine in the last 3 months.
  • People who have exchanged sex for money, drugs, or other purposes in the past 3 months.
  • People who have been sexually assaulted, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.
  • People who have had sexual contact or prolonged skin-to-skin exposure with people who were exposed to MPV.
  • Known contacts of an MPV case who are identified by public health, as well as presumed contacts who either report that a sex partner in the past 14 days was diagnosed with MPV, or who report multiple sex partners in the past 14 days in a jurisdiction with known MPV.
