You are invited to spend the weekend of May 5-7 with the First Church community at Camp Indianola on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula! Join this annual gathering where we’ll meet new friends, play, relax and share in Sunday morning worship together. We will have kayaking, crafts, games, s’mores and other activities.
Location:
Camp Indianola, 10635 Northeast Shore Drive, Indianola, WA 98342
Lodging:
Driftwood Lodge and Cottage. Smaller private family rooms are available, as is a larger 8-bed dormitory room. Shared bathrooms with showers. Those who prefer to tent camp can do so on the lawn in front of Driftwood Lodge.
Meals:
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided Saturday, and breakfast is provided on Sunday. Note: Friday dinner is not provided. Bring your own food or eat before arriving Friday evening.
Activities:
There will be a kayak session on Saturday. There will be other activities, such as crafts, talent show, scavenger hunt and back by popular demand, Mocktail hour!
Packing List:
- Linens: Sheets and comforter/blankets or sleeping bag, pillow, towel.
- Toiletries: Toothbrush/toothpaste, soap, deodorant, shampoo, brush.
- Clothing: Coat/jacket, hat & gloves, boots, sweater/sweatshirt, jeans/pants, rain gear, shoes, water shoes and clothes that can get wet if you plan to kayak.
- Miscellaneous: Directions to camp, ferry schedule, camera, flashlight, binoculars, indoor or outdoor games, sunscreen, sunglasses, Friday night dinner, craft or art supplies.
