Monday Night Class: “Anti-Racism and the Church”

The United Methodist Church has provided a five-part video series “De-colonizing the Church: A Commitment to Anti-Racism” that we will be using in this class led by Pastor Jeremy. This series creates space for engaging conversations and practical ways in which to shape and reshape congregational DNA to reflect anti-racist discipleship. We will reflect on where we are now as a country, both politically and socially, and where we have been as a Methodist movement, providing a way forward toward the fulfillment of the beloved community. We will watch portions of the webinar as a community and reflect in large and small groups as we take the next steps in our 2021-2024 Lens Crafting vision for First Church. All are welcome to participate in this Zoom class.
