First Church Notes With Sadness Passing of Pat MacMartin

Marion "Pat" MacMartin, a beloved First Churcher, sang in our excellent choir for 42 years. She passed away Tuesday, July 20 in Seattle, and is survived by Patricia Wood. Pat was a medical technologist whose work at the University of Washington focused on inherited pediatric diseases. She was enchanted by the Northwest, and thoroughly enjoyed camping, hiking, beach trips, symphony, theater and Husky sports. Her memorial service will be held next Wednesday, August 4 at 2 p.m. at Bayview Retirement Community, 11 West Aloha St, Seattle.
