At First Church, worship invites us to experience both the unconditional love of God and the on-going challenge to be God's people in the world. Vibrant traditional and contemporary music, excellent preaching, the creative arts and celebration of the sacraments- are all hallmarks of worship at First Church.

Nursery
 |
Young children are cared for by experienced caregivers in our nursery, which is right around the corner from our sanctuary, and is available during both worship services. Special curriculum will help toddlers learn the basics of faith as they develop healthy relationships with caregivers and their peers in a safe, nurturing environment. During the summer (now through September 5), children 4-ish and under can either be dropped off in the nursery before worship begins or following the Children's Sermon, when children will be invited to retire to the nursery.

Children's Sunday School: On Summer Hiatus

To allow our hard-working teachers to rejuvenate, and give families time to experience worship life with their children by their sides, from now until September 5, children 5 and up are invited to snuggle in next to their families for worship. Be sure to pick up kids' Worship packets from an usher. There will be a children's sermon in the 11:00 service. Children will be invited to return to their families and/or friends at the conclusion of that time. In the fall, we will return to our "regularly scheduled program", where children ages four years through elementary school have the option to join their peers in Sunday School from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Sunday School for Youth & Adults: On Summer Hiatus

Our adult education classes and youth classes are on summer hiatus from now until September 5. In the fall, we'll once again have an array of classes for adults and youth from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
